ABOUT ETIHAD UMMAH
ETIHAD UMMAH Charity is an award-winning, humanitarian and disaster relief aid organisation based in the US. We currently provide and facilitate aid across more than 19 calamity-stricken countries worldwide including Syria, Palestine, Yemen and Afghanistan.
We aim to alleviate suffering, and ultimately, save the lives of our brothers and sisters across the world. Not only do we aim to provide immediate relief to those in need; we also focus on empowerment projects that give beneficiaries the opportunity to transform theirs and their families lives for the better.
With our assistance, beneficiaries are given the skills and tools to craft a better life, away from the misery of poverty. After ten years of life-saving work, we have expanded greatly, with the recruitment of volunteers, employment of staff, and establishing offices across the US and abroad.
Without the mercy of Allah first and foremost, and then the generosity of our amazing donors, we would not be in a position where we are able to benefit millions around the world every year.

To put the true light of Islam in practise by tackling poverty, changing lives and answering the calls of those in need. To bring joy, dignity and honour back to our brothers and sisters in Humanity around the world. We aim to:

- Tackle the root causes of poverty in any region and make positive changes.

100% DONATION POLICY
Etihad Ummah operates a 100% Donation Policy. We highly value the trust of our supporters and assure you that every penny you generously donate is dedicated solely to the cause or project you have chosen to support. The project funds and administrative funds are completely segregated, we do not allocate project funds towards administrative expenses, marketing efforts, or generating additional funds.
It is important to note that any unavoidable online transaction charges by third-party gateways are deducted before the donation reaches us. An example of our 100% Donation Policy is that if you donate $100 towards a school project, what we receive from your $100 donation will go directly towards the school project, ensuring it benefits the intended recipients. Our donors can trust that Etihad Ummah exercises complete diligence in how we allocate funds under the donors’ specific preferences and intentions.
So how does the charity cover its expenses?
We have a number of ways that we generate income that helps the charity operate from a day-to-day basis. The charity covers its costs from:
Admin Fund: A specific fund where donations can be made directly towards the administration costs.
Gift Aid: Any gift aid claimed on donations is used for administration costs and project management.
Textile Recycling: Etihad Ummah maintains clothing banks where textiles are collected and recycled to raise funds.
Sponsors: We acquire sponsorship deals to increase the charity’s exposure and generate funds.
